General Questions
What is included in the tour price for your clients?
The Zolusa tour price for end clients includes carefully selected luxury accommodations and delicious local cuisine. Our package is designed to offer a worry-free experience where clients can fully enjoy the journey, with the primary goal being to focus on cycling. We provide partners with a detailed list of all included services to facilitate communication and promotion of the package to end clients.
Are the tours guaranteed once booked by our clients?
Most of our tours are guaranteed with a minimum of 6 participants, depending on the specific itinerary. If the minimum booking requirement is not met, an additional supplement may be required to confirm the tour. Our team is available to inform you about participation requirements and discuss possible solutions to ensure the best experience for your clients.
Are Zolusa tours suitable for clients who do not participate in cycling activities?
Yes, we offer options where non-cycling clients (companions) can still enjoy the destinations in Zolusa style. On specific itineraries, non-cyclists can explore the region with alternative activities such as cultural visits, dedicated transfers for shopping, excursions, or relaxation at hotel pools and spas during the day. They can still join the group for evening cocktails and dinners, ensuring a shared experience.
In the case of mixed groups (cyclists and non-cyclists), our Dedicated Team will be happy to arrange tailored activities and transport for non-cyclists, including private itineraries for shared lunches and tastings. Please note that all alternative activities, such as cultural visits, shopping transfers, and excursions not included in the tour price, will incur additional costs. The base package price for both cyclists and non-cyclists remains unchanged, as all included services are available to both. For more details or to discuss customized itineraries, please contact our dedicated team.
Are Zolusa tours suitable for clients traveling with children?
Our tours are designed to provide authentic and high-quality experiences, with itineraries primarily aimed at an adult audience. While we do not offer specific activities for minors under 18, we are happy to work with you to identify alternatives or personalized solutions to meet your needs. Contact our Dedicated Team for more information and to explore tailored options.
How are varying cycling abilities of participants managed on Zolusa tours?
Our tours are designed to accommodate various levels of cycling ability, ensuring an enjoyable experience for both passionate cyclists and beginners. We maintain a low guide-to-participant ratio, never exceeding 7:1, to provide personalized support throughout the journey. Each group is accompanied by at least one cycling guide and another in the support vehicle, which offers mechanical assistance and the option to ride in the vehicle for more challenging sections. The vehicle is also available to provide snacks and energy drinks during the tour.
Our daily itineraries include cycling options with varying distances, so each client can choose the route best suited to their abilities. The inclusion of e-bikes as standard makes the experience accessible to cyclists of different levels, offering additional support for climbs and challenging routes. For partners who wish to offer a fully customized experience, we provide the option to create private, tailored tours with itineraries designed according to the group’s needs and preferences.
How are clients’ dietary restrictions managed on Zolusa tours?
On Zolusa tours, we pay close attention to participants’ dietary needs, including restrictions, allergies, and preferences, to provide an enjoyable and safe culinary experience. At the time of booking, partners can report specific requests, which will be shared with restaurants, accommodations, and guides. For specific restrictions related to local cuisine, our team can work with local partners to evaluate possible adaptations. Before the tour begins, we collect detailed information on dietary preferences to facilitate meal preparations aligned with the stated needs.
Bookings
How can I book a tour for our clients?
Partners can book Zolusa tours easily and flexibly. Reservations can be made online through our dedicated reseller portal, accessible with credentials provided by Zolusa, or by contacting our support team for specific requests, private tours, or group bookings. After submitting the booking request, our team will confirm the details and provide assistance with any additional needs.
For scheduled departure bookings made more than 90 days before the tour, a deposit of 30% of the total amount is required to secure the reservation. If the booking is made within 90 days of the tour date, full payment is required. For private tours and customized bookings, payment terms may vary; contact us to discuss specific conditions.
Rates and Occupancy
What does the single-room supplement include?
Zolusa tour prices are based on double room occupancy. For end clients who wish to have a private room, a single-room supplement is required to guarantee exclusive use of the accommodation. Upon request, we can assist partners in pairing single clients with another participant, where possible, to avoid the additional cost. Contact us to discuss tailored solutions for your clients.
Changes and Cancellations
What happens if it is necessary to cancel or modify a booking for our clients?
If a booking needs to be canceled or modified, the terms of our Cancellation Policy apply. Refund and penalty details vary depending on the time remaining before departure. For transparent management, we recommend that partners review our Cancellation and Modification Policy.
Travel Insurance
Is it advisable for clients to purchase travel insurance?
To protect the travel investment and ensure coverage in case of unforeseen events, we strongly recommend that partners advise clients to purchase travel insurance. Such insurance can cover cancellations, medical expenses, and other emergencies, providing greater security and peace of mind for both the end client and the partner. For more details on available insurance options, our team is available to discuss the most suitable solutions.
Travel Arrangements Assistance
Does Zolusa offer support for arranging clients’ travel?
Yes, our team consists of professionals specializing in bespoke travel, ready to assist partners with clients’ transfer arrangements. We can help organize additional overnight stays at selected accommodations, either before or after the tour, and coordinate private transfers to and from our tour starting points. Our team is at your disposal to address any travel needs, ensuring a seamless experience for your clients from start to finish.
Tour Preparation
What training recommendations should we provide to our clients to prepare for the tour?
To help clients make the most of the Zolusa experience, we provide details on the difficulty levels of our itineraries, offering a clear understanding of the physical effort required. We recommend that partners suggest clients train regularly on a bicycle or participate in spinning classes to become accustomed to cycling and improve endurance.
On-Tour Support
What type of support can end clients expect during the tour?
Zolusa ensures comprehensive support throughout each tour, providing your clients with a safe and relaxing experience. During cycling routes, our guides prioritize participants’ comfort and safety, offering assistance both on the road and through a support vehicle. The vehicle is always available to provide water, snacks, mechanical assistance, and transportation for personal belongings. Clients can use the vehicle for more challenging sections, ensuring a stress-free ride.
In addition to technical support, we handle practical details: luggage is transported directly to hotels, and, upon request, we can arrange wellness treatments for clients. Our guides are not only familiar with local languages and cultures but also have close relationships with selected restaurants and wineries, guaranteeing an authentic local experience. Moreover, our team takes souvenir photos, allowing clients to fully enjoy their travel experience.
Packing for the Tour
What should clients pack for the tour?
To ensure maximum comfort for your clients during both cycling routes and extra activities, Zolusa provides a detailed packing list with all essentials for the tour. The list includes recommended technical clothing for cycling days as well as suggestions for leisure time, sun protection, and useful accessories. We encourage partners to share this list with clients during the preparation phase to ensure an optimal and hassle-free experience.
Tipping
How should clients handle tipping during the tour?
Tipping is appreciated as recognition for the service provided by Zolusa guides, who are dedicated to ensuring a memorable experience for every participant. We recommend that partners inform clients that the suggested tip for the guide team is 10-15% of the tour price. This amount represents the total contribution for the guiding team to be shared among them, eliminating the need for individual tips. Tips are usually given at the end of the tour, and local currency is preferred.
Transfers
Are transfers at the start and end of the tour included for clients?
For every Zolusa itinerary, we provide group transfers to and from the starting and ending points listed in the itinerary. Recommended arrival and departure times and locations are communicated during the booking process. If clients arrive or depart at different times, we can arrange private transfers upon request. We are available to assist partners in managing transfers and ensuring that each client starts and ends the tour comfortably and stress-free.
Bikes and Equipment
How is bike fitting handled for end clients?
Each Zolusa tour begins with a personalized bike fitting session to adjust the bicycle to each participant’s physical needs, ensuring optimal comfort. If clients have specific requirements, such as preferences for adjustments or particular setups, partners can send their measurements in advance using our Bike Fit form. This allows us to prepare the bike before arrival, ensuring that every client starts the tour with maximum comfort.
Can clients bring their own bicycles?
Yes, clients can use their own bicycles during the Zolusa tour. However, they are responsible for shipping, maintenance, assembly, and disassembly of the equipment. Upon request and subject to availability, we can arrange for a mechanic to assist with assembly at an additional cost. We encourage our partners to contact us for specific details regarding necessary arrangements.
Can clients bring their own pedals and/or saddle?
Yes, clients may bring their own pedals and saddle to further customize their riding experience. Our guides will be available to install these components at the start of the tour, ensuring a safe and comfortable setup. We invite partners to share this information with clients to ensure optimal preparation.
Can clients request specific handlebar modifications or other adjustments to the bike?
Yes, the handlebar height of Zolusa bikes can be adjusted using spacers or an adjustable stem to offer maximum comfort for clients. However, for safety and technical compatibility, we do not install handlebar extensions. Any other structural modifications will be assessed by our mechanics and may incur additional costs. Partners are encouraged to notify us in advance about specific needs to facilitate customized adjustments.
What type of bicycles are available for clients during Zolusa tours?
To ensure maximum comfort and adaptability to various skill levels, Zolusa provides high-end e-bikes by default. These bicycles offer optimal electric assistance, allowing clients to tackle longer distances and climbs with ease, fully enjoying the scenery and experiences without overexertion.
Upon request, we can consider the option of standard bicycles for clients who prefer a more traditional cycling experience. Please contact our team to check availability and additional conditions.
